I am delighted to have been invited to share my picture book "Life Below Water, a fishy tale" SDG no. 14 on Sunday 9th June at 3 pm, outside by Lake Geneva (Leman). This will be in the context of the Open Day event at the World Trade Organization (WTO). The building and surroundings will be open to the public from 10 am to 6 pm. The WTO is also doing important work at the moment on fisheries, so a couple of experts will be on hand to explain what they are working on to advance SDG 14.
This is an exciting opportunity for me to share locally, and see first hand the reaction of the children. I hope to get these books into schools to learn about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to initiate conversations with adults to prepare for a sustainable future.
